Another day till 7p.

That is the time my husband arrived home from work two days in a row. I know. Poor me. Yes, poor me. This is my blog! Okay, generally my hubbie is home from work by 2:50p. So, 7p is a rather long day for me. Let me clarify. It is a rather long day to spend with kids when they don't take naps. I know there are many women out there who can totally handle a long day with the kids alone. And they probably do it everyday. However, I admit I struggle. The kids really weren't that horrible today. It was a very typical day. I am just really needing some alone time. Which must be very apparent since I chose today to start my blog. Today I had hosted a playdate. Nothing big. My sister and her two kiddos (ages 2 and 4) and a good friend of mine and her son (3). The morning was great. I love having company. It makes the day fly by. During quiet time (quiet time is generally an episode of Dora that I religiously dvr everyday) I was able to go outside and spray paint this rusty rod iron stand to hold hanging baskets. I have been feeling pretty crafty lately. I am totally pumped about that. Well, I am sitting in my office right now with all the lights off hoping no one finds me. I better come out of hiding and clean the kitchen. Back to reality. Hopefully tomorrow I will continue.....
