Okay, so today we had another garage sale. This time at my house. This is our forth day of selling. But we spread it out over several weeks. And let me just say loud and clear 'I am totally done garage selling for awhile!' I am not really sure why but today I am completely wiped out, totally exhausted. Jeff and I ran all the remaining stuff to the Salvation Army this evening. Jeff so kindly unloaded both vehicles (we followed each other there) while I fell asleep! How horrible am I?! I mean seriously, I started to dream! We were only there for like 5 minutes. I am so ready for bed. I don't think my kids are ever going to call it a night. Jeff already went to bed because he has to be at work at 4am tomorrow. Jeff has to be at work at 4am on a Saturday! I thought that was worth repeating. The things he won't do for this family.
Here is my mom setting up for the big sale. For the record, my mom was at my house at 6am! I was so totally impressed. Okay, and look at my house in this pic. I think this may be one of the first pics of my new house. I just love my little darling house. It is just lovely.
Alexis, Aunt Donna and Mom. Aunt Donna came over to help out today. And when I say help out I mean stay all day, take care of all the money, convince strangers to spend more money and sweat her butt off. Thanks, Aunt Donna! I appreciate all your help!
My handsome Dad. Dad stopped off for just a little bit. He just got off work and stopped by to say hello to everyone.
Alexis and Kylee at their lemonade stand. Okay, these girls cleaned up at the sale. They made like $12 selling 25 cent cups of lemonade. Tiffany joked that now that I know how much money is in the lemonade biz I will have the boys out there all week pushing lemonade. She joked but I totally contemplated it.
Savanah and Braxton. These pics were taken before Savanah got her hair cut.
Okay this is totally random. But as I am typing this blog at 10:45p I can hear my kids climbing in and out the closet, slamming the doors open then shut. I am really hoping they pass out soon so I don't have to go discipline. Anyhow, that is not what I was getting to. The other night I went upstairs to check on the boys before going to bed. I do this every night. I do random things like pick their hands up into the air and then let them drop back down. It just cracks me up to see how hard they sleep. Plus, I always check to make sure everyone is breathing. Sometimes I do this just to get a reaction to make sure they are okay. They never wake up though. Sometimes I even touch their noses to watch them scratch them. I think it is hilarious. Okay, where was I going with this? Oh, the other night I go upstairs and I can find Jackson and Jacob, but no Jonah. I mean really, where is Jonah? I started to panic a little. Then I tried to wake Jackson and I am yelling, "Jackson, where is Jonah? Where is Jonah?!" Jackson never woke up. At this point I have the kid by the shoulders and I am shaking him. Nothing. He never opened his eyes. He was probably used to me bugging him in his sleep and he figured this was a breathing check. Right then the closet doors flew open and a sleepy Jonah stumbled out. I had a heart attack. Really! In the closet?! For one second I thought it might be my ghost to tell me where Jonah was. How freaky that Jonah was not afraid of the dark. That freaked me out. I would never go into the dark creepy closet by myself. That was the other night when Kylee stayed over. So, I brought Jonah downstairs and he slept with Kylee. Did I already tell that story before? Geez, I hate getting older.
Here is pic of April. I am really starting to think she never has a bad day. I am in sweats at the sale and here is April in another new shirt. I think she secretly bought out a department store.
Alexis, Kylee and Savanah making the money.
After the sale and the clean up I went to pick up the kids at my in-laws. The kids were all in the driveway playing. They were too cute. I couldn't help but snag some more photos of them playing. Everyday blows my mind how big they are. Here is Jacob and Jonah riding their bikes to the cones and back.
Jacob.
Jonah.
Juliet on the motorcycle.
Jackson.
And the really bad boo boo goes to Jacob! We put the boys to bed like two hours ago. Yah, I wish I was kidding. They were upstairs for maybe 5 minutes and Jacob starts screaming. I am a horrible mom. I did not get up to look. They cry so much, especially when they are supposed to be in their beds. Then I heard Jeff say, "oh shoot!" But he didn't say shoot. Okay, I am still not used to the boys getting hurt. I think I already had the first 9 dialed for 911 before I even saw what was going on. I got more upset then he did. Here is Jeff. He grabs like two squares of toilet paper and gets them wet in the sink. Then he is like, "Here Jacob put this on your eye, but be careful. If that blood gets into your eye it will burn." Seriously? Toilet paper? I am over the top screaming, "Just grab the towel! Just grab the towel! I don't care it is white!" I think I said that at least 10 times before he gave up on the wet toilet paper idea. We are guessing that Jacob was jumping from bed to bed in their room and didn't make it to the next bed.
