Savanah, Jackson, Jonah and Braxton. Three seconds later and Braxton was gone. He doesn't sit still very long. But Savanah LOVES the camera.
Here are all six kiddos. Jackson is in the back looking down. But I was pretty impressed that almost all the kids were looking towards the camera.
This is my mom and my niece Savanah.
My four year old niece took this pic of me and Jules.

Today was definitely a day for the books. I woke up to a normal typical Thursday. This day ended up being perfect. Just absolutely blissful. I am generally a very stay at home person. I don't like to leave the house alone. Before Juliet was born the boys and I were gone every single day. I loaded the boys up in the triplet stroller and we were off. Then our precious Jules was born and things came to a screeching holt. She hates the stroller. She will NOT ride it for a single minute. The remedy to that was simple. I purchased an Ergo. It is a backpack for your kid. However, the boys outgrew their lovely stroller. And honestly, I don't think I could push it any longer. Geez, one ginormous stroller and three boys, do the math. I am not Hercules. So, back to today I was itching to get out. I really wanted to drive down to Brown Co. The car drive is long, but I LOVE car rides. Pop a movie in, drive thru Starbucks and relax. The kids would be entertained. I would be in my own little world enjoying the great outdoors. Haha! Then we would have a picnic in the park, play some, get ice cream (of course) and drive home. Then my hubbie would be waiting at home for us and I would tag team him in. Lovely. I am almost giddy. But back to today. My sister and mom didn't want to drive so far away. By the way, I am with my sister and her two kids nearly every single day. That is kinda a given. Her daughter is four and son is 2. So together we have a four year old, three three year olds, a two year old and a one year old. We are quite the group. But it just works out perfectly. The kids love each other soooo much. My mom only works part-time. She has Thursdays and Fridays off, plus the weekends. So, generally we try to rope my mom into helping on those days. Okay, seriously back to today. We decided to take the kids to a local park. Brilliant. We chose a park that none of us had ever been to but drive by all the time. It was perfect. I am really excited about this. Seriously. The kid area with the jungle gym was fenced all the way in! It only had one entrance! I couldn't get the car parked fast enough when I saw that. Whoever thought of that is pure genius. Or, they have too many kids like us. Then mere feet away was a lovely covered picnic area. Yeah, we were going to have a picnic. This is what is so perfect about this. Generally I eat so fast that I almost forget what I just ate. Seriously, every meal is a challenge to eat as fast as I possibly can. But with this setup the kids can return to playing and I could actually eat! What a concept. This park just keeps getting better. It also had walking trails. Not like a dirt path, but a paved path. Again, it is the little things, but this would mean no muddy shoes in the car. The pic above is my brother in law (yes, we were blessed with his presence today, kidding) my sister and the kiddos. There was this darling little creek. Just lovely.
Okay, just a side note. I am really horrible with a computer. I am amazing myself that I am adding photos right. However, they all keep going to the top of the post. I am not sure what that is all about. Okay, back to the day...
I took soooo many pics. I will probably post too many, but oh well. Oh, and the kids today... the kids today were perfect. Just amazingly well behaved they were. I am so proud. We played, ate our picnic, walked the trail, played some more and then headed home. Oh, and to make this day even better my mom is on her way over to take Jacob shopping. It is his special day. The boys are very familiar with their special days. Realistically it is just too cumbersome to manage all the kids on some outings. Plus, I think they need their own time. So, when someone blesses us and picks up a kiddo for an outing we simply say, "It is their special day." The boys understand that their day will come and they generally don't get too upset when another leaves. It may be thinking that we will still have three have kiddos to look after. This is true but the house seems sooo much quieter with one missing. I know it sounds crazy, but it is very true. I am soo pumped for the rest of the afternoon. Did I mention I can be a little long winded? I get it honest. Oh my goodness! Just had to quickly add this. Could it really get any better??? Jackson just came upstairs put his head on my lap and said, "Mom, I love you." Pure joy! It was followed with, "I am out of popcorn and Dora is over." Lol. Back to the kiddos.
