Garage Sale! Okay, so the garage sale has definitely been stressing me out. I mean, it is just a garage sale. Really? What could be so stressful about putting all your stuff in your driveway and asking for 50 cents for things you spent hundreds of dollars on? Well, throw in four kiddos, no babysitters and the most crap you have ever seen and it gets a little more complicated. Plus, the weather has been such a huge issue. I can't say we didn't have any help at all. My sister, Mom and Aunt Donna took all six kids today to Great Times. Thank goodness! We would have never been able to do this today. So, big thanks to our family for once again, stepping up and helping us. It takes a village to raise a child. We need a small country. Well, two weeks ago we held a one day only yard sale and it poured on us. We were running around in the rain throwing things in the garage. So, two weeks later we gave it another try. Today it was 90 some degrees outside, but it felt like 97! But there hasn't been any rain. We decided this go around to give it two days. So, today was the end of day one. Two weeks ago I made $250 and today $285. I am feeling pretty good about that. The boys were kinda upset and excited to see their things in the garage sale. Here are some pics of them pulling everything out they found. This is Jonah beating on a drum set. For obvious reasons this was in the sale.
Here is Jacob. He is becoming my little ham. He loves to smile for the camera.
Jackson is playing with some of his younger toys he found.
This swing was in the sale. My Mom put Juliet into the swing to entertain her.
This was first thing this morning putting things out. We had the sale at my Mom's house.
Look at all that stuff!
I was going through my camera today and noticed some cute recent pics of the kiddos. So, I thought in this blog I would end with some random pics of each kid. Here is Jules. These were all taken earlier in the month.
Jacob smiling for me.
I think Jackson was rolling his eyes at me when I asked him to smile.
Jonah showing me 'his face'.
I threw this pic in because I love it so much. Even at one years of age Juliet already realizes chocolate is a girls best friend. Mmm mmm!
