I couldn't resist adding another photo of the boys with their umbrellas. They played with them pretty much the remainder of the day. They are very darling. Jackson even put his rain boots on. The boys kept running to the windows today yelling, "It's raining, Mom!" We did go out and play today and it didn't rain. We have a very large mulberry tree in our backyard. Jeff has been itching to cut it down since we moved in. We have only lived here a couple of months but he has been bugging me about it. Well, I was very against this. The tree was so pretty and provided so much shade. Okay, then the mulberries started growing on the tree. Wow! It attracted sooo many bugs. Plus, my car was always dotted with purple. Then the kids wanted to eat them. Then they would walk on them and bring mulberries into the house. So, in the end I agreed with my wonderful husband that the tree must go. So, tonight was the night. It really wasn't planned. My father in law showed up with a chainsaw and in no time it was down. So, here are some pics. I really wish I would have taken a before pic, but it never crossed my mind.
The boys were very eager to help. That is my father in law.
Juliet was very content watching the whole mess from her swing. She sat there forever.
Here is Jonah helping. I had pics of all the boys helping. However, I am still new to adding photos and they were all sideways when I uploaded them. Yes, Jonah is wearing his rain boots.
I brought the kids in for dinner while they finishing. Well, all the kids except Jackson. There was no pulling him away. He is Pappaw's boy for sure. It is funny. Jackson looks just like Jeff and he acts sooo much like him too. After dinner I gave the kids ice cream. These are pics of them enjoying. This was very messy. But pretty much everything is at this age. Here is Jonah saying, "cheese!"
