An evening with good friends

Tonight I met up with Nikki and Tiffany at Starbucks to do a little catching up. I love evenings out with the girls just chatting. I was definitely ready for some time out of the house. Last evening our basement flooded. Jeff and I were up most of the night mopping and trying to soak up all the water. Jeff ended up calling in today because the water was out of control. Our sump pumps were not working. So, that was an unexpected expense. It looks like we are going to have to have some work done on our foundation. But the water was not the reason I was so eager for some time out. Jeff worked on the basement until 6p. I was watching the kids solo. They were driving me crazy. Jacob broke so many things today, Juliet learned how to climb on the kitchen table (I found her twice sitting in the center of it) and all of their toys are in the basement. So, entertainment was basically me, the few toys in their rooms and tv. They were going crazy and I was going crazy. Hopefully, tomorrow we will get out. When I came home I checked on the kiddos. This was Jackson sleeping. OMG I can't take it. He tucked his bear and his dog in. Yes, he is sleeping on the floor. Really I don't know why we bought the boys beds. They always sleep besides them on the floor. Jacob tells me all the time to take it back to the store and sell it in the garage sale. This is so cute. He laid his blanket out to sleep on with his pillow. So incredibly precious. I will think of this pic tomorrow when I want to ring his little neck out. Kidding.
